Thursday morning
Good morning and how have you been? Over here it is a sullen 10c, and a morose icy coldness manages to find my inner core and I've been cringing on and off since waking at an early hour. My foot decided to quit behaving itself; cramping in a most distressing sort of way. I finally realised that the socks I'd chosen to wear had most unfortunately cut circulation around both ankles, thus rendering me more susceptable to cramp. By the time I'd figured this out, and removed the Offending Article, I was a little less stressed and more awake! I took Foot and the rest of me out to the lounge, where I enjoyed hot coffee & some toast. I realised it might be a little while before I could jump online, but that was alright ~ I have learned to bide my time and not get too anxious. I always find a moment that makes it okay and I get to come along and say hello! Thursday leaps into the picture at around 4.45am; and already I've found out that while the last quarter of the moon is... (more)

chore chart diy
after months of planning and procrastinating, i finally was able to finish the kids' chore chart! whoopee! here it is! so what it does is, it motivates kids to do their chores (or so i think). it's also a fun way to remind them of what needs to be done on a daily basis. all i do is to update it every morning and remind them to check their chore charts upon waking up. so far so good. they are doing their chores. yay! here's what i did: 1) i bought small whiteboards (the magnetic ones) and divided them into 2 parts: 'things to do' and 'done'. 2) i created "buttons" of their chores ~ clear the table, brush teeth, dress up, etc using photoshop or whatever program you want. i googled the cliparts. make sure the pictures are easy to understand, especially by the age of your kid/s. 3) print on a board paper and cut the "buttons". 4) i initially wanted to buy round magnets found in craft stores but i remember having leftover magnetic sheets we used for our diy wedding... tumbling down the hill
It's all happening again, just the way I figured it would. And yes, I feel like a total loser for having faith in myself that I could actually pull this off. No wonder I keep to myself. No wonder I don't venture out. No wonder I'm perfectly content living in my own little world. Even if it is fake, oblivious, unrealistic, and anti-social, at least it's safe. (03-16-2007)

An Eternal Agreement
Date: Monday, August 18, 2014 Today's Chapters: Jeremiah 31-32 Message Title: An Eternal Agreement Hello My Friend, A covenant is an agreement, a legal contract between two people, it is written down, signed by both parties, and executed just as the contract stated. Should one break the contract, there is a hefty price to pay for breaking it. When God created the world He made a covenant with Adam, “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” - Genesis 2:16,17. Of course, we all know that Adam ate of the fruit, and from that moment on the covenant between God and man was broken, that hefty price was death, not a physical death, a spiritual death, and that spiritual death was passed down to all of us. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death...
